On Monday 4th March we’re having an Open Day in our school so you can have an opportunity to see our school in action. Come and have a chat with the children, the parents and the staff. We’re looking forward to seeing you anytime between 9.00 am in the morning and 4.00 pm in the afternoon. If you like what you see, why not ask for an “Intention to Apply” form for either September 2019 or September 2020?
We've just been allocated full hours for a third teacher next year, so we're delighted that Miss Shorten will be keeping her job. This means our school is not only extremely well resourced with computers, laptops and i pads etc, but we've also got a fabulous teacher pupil ratio. So please come, bring a friend and join up.
This month, we welcome Amy Anthony, a trainee teacher from CICE and we hope she enjoys her time with us as she refines her teaching skills in the junior room. Thank you to Heather Fleming who gave a n excellent interactive presentation to the children about "Internet Safety". Thank you also to Gareth and Margaret (Postal Bible Club) who arrived, and after a session of singing songs of praise, telling bible stories and playing games, presented the children with their prizes. The children in the senior room, with their step counters walked, ran, jumped and jigged in order to exceed the magic million steps in the month! The "Star of David" crocus flower bed blooms a glorious yellow to remind us of those maltreated in World War 2 camps and the Fermoy Adair School featured in the 28th February edition of the Evening Echo.
