Time to welcome all you wonderful people, who have faithfully supported the school throughout the years, to an Open Evening at the school. Thank you for your contributions that have built into a substantial fund that has recently been used to transform the school. A lovely new entrance with handsome gates beckons you into a grassy, south facing playground overlooking the town of Fermoy. A large, glass front door spills light into the painted lobby and ushers you into the refurbished classrooms with their psychedelic posture chairs and signature walls. The place is bright, fresh and unusual as paintwork and blinds reflect the colour choices of children and adults. It feels like home and it's a fun place to work.....and it's time for you to come to visit us.
So pop it in your diary:

We've had good times this month as Finn the Potter arrived. As usual, the children were soon busily engaged designing strange photo frames and bizarre figures. Scratched legs stuck out the bottom of bulbous shapes and large hats, bedecked with flowers stuck out the top! Each unique creature sported a long tongue and an extraordinary expression.
Thank you to Diana Buckley who kindly chaperoned some of sixth class to the Diocesan Service in Bandon, an occasion that the children enjoy annually as they meet up with children from around the extensive diocese of Cork Cloyne and Ross.
