As we break up for the Christmas holidays we are looking forward to time with family and friends. We have made the most of the past few weeks in school despite closures for Storm Barra!
We had a baking day in school and the children were all so well behaved and followed instructions excellently. Many yummy treats were made, and no doubt consumed when they got home. We also had a Christmas Cinema Trip, the children each had a goodie bag and munched away while Clifford the Red Dog entertained us.
The elf was a daily visitor to the Junior Room and got up to many antics - swinging from the lights, stealing sweets, putting toilet roll on the Christmas tree......and as a reward for tolerating his bad behaviour he served up hot chocolate.
We recorded our Christmas plays so our parents could watch them on Dojo. They children were excellent; lines were learned and costumes were brought in. Thank you all for your hard work. Hopefully next year we'll get back to the big stage!
Thanks to all the parents for the lovely gifts given to the teachers, they are very much appreciated. Thanks to the P.A. for the gifts for the pupils and to the Board of Management for the lovely treat each staff member received.
Wishing everyone a lovely Christmas and New Year, see you all in 2022.
